Due to the Coronavirus we have made some changes to our services. Non-essential work will be deferred. If you have a job that is essential to your well-being then please do contact us. This includes shopping collection and talking (befriending) for people that are socially isolated.
Staff will mostly be working from home for the foreseeable future. Please be patient and preferably contact us by email handyperson@MorayHPS.org.uk Phone messages will be picked up and we will respond in due course.
MHPS is open for business and will continue to support the vulnerable people in Moray for as long as we are permitted to keep providing the practical assistance so valued by our community.
Naturally our priority is to protect the health of our staff, volunteers and our service users so whether you be a member of staff, volunteer of service user, please do not come into work, take on, or request a job if you exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19.
Please bear with us as it may take a little longer than usual to answer your calls and arrange for work to be done.
Everybody at Moray HandyPerson Services would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
The office is now closed until Monday 6th January. Please be patient and we look forward to helping you again in 2020.
Our most prolific volunteer retired today after five years of outstanding service. Maureen joined the HandyPerson service in October 2014 as a volunteer toenail trimmer. Never one to shy away from a job that many of us would find daunting, Maureen has trimmed over 800 pairs of feet in her time; that’s over 8,000 toes!
Good luck Maureen; happy retirement. You deserve it!
